About Rebekah Troyer
My name is Rebekah (Becky) Troyer, and I’ve spent the last three decades growing in the most meaningful role of my life—being a wife, mother, and now grandmother. My husband and I have been married for 31 years, and together we’ve raised seven children, including two sets of twins. Four of our children are now married, and we’re blessed with seven beautiful grandchildren.
As a young mother, I experienced firsthand the challenges of raising children. It was often lonely and confusing, and those early years planted a deep desire in me to one day support other parents walking similar paths. That desire became a calling.
Over the years, I pursued education to better serve families. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree in Human Services Counseling with a focus on Parenting and Child/Adolescent Development. I’m a Certified Parent Café Host and a Certified Lifewise Teacher, and I’ve worked closely with teens in specialized classroom settings—many of whom faced emotional and behavioral challenges. These experiences deepened my passion for helping families grow stronger together.
Today, I combine my personal experience and professional training to empower parents and teens through coaching, classes, and community partnerships. My mission is simple: to help families build strong relationships, stable homes, and lasting, loving legacies.
Legacy By Design exists to inspire and equip moms, dads, and caregivers to build lasting, loving legacies by cultivating strong, nurturing relationships with their children and grandchildren. Through education, encouragement, and community connection, we help families create stable homes that become the foundation for thriving, resilient communities.
